General
Huts & Horses is set in the Welsh countryside, offering peaceful, private stays designed for both riders and non-riders. Full directions and arrival details are provided once your booking is confirmed.
The minimum stay is three nights.
A 25% booking deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 28 days before arrival.
Bookings made within 28 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations made more than 28 days before arrival will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the booking deposit.
Cancellations within 28 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Hut check-in: from 2:00pm
Hut check-out: by 11:00am
Yes — where availability allows.
We are happy for guests to arrive earlier with their horses on arrival day and/or depart later on departure day, allowing you to enjoy a ride on arrival, departure, or both.
This flexibility applies to horse facilities only and must be arranged in advance.
Access to the hut itself remains from 2:00pm on arrival and until 11:00am on departure unless otherwise agreed.
Horses & Riding
No. Huts & Horses welcomes both guests travelling with their own horses and guests without horses who simply want to enjoy the countryside.
Facilities vary depending on your booking but may include:
- Private or shared paddocks
- Water supply
- Secure fencing
Full details will be confirmed prior to arrival.
Yes. All horses must:
- Be in good health
- Be appropriately vaccinated
- Be free from infectious disease
Horses are brought and kept entirely at the owner’s risk.
Owners are fully responsible for:
- Daily care and welfare
- Feeding and mucking out
- Paddock management
- Any damage caused by their horse(s)
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any horse we believe may pose a risk to people, other horses, livestock or the property.
Accommodation
Each hut is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Full details are listed on the accommodation page for your chosen hut.
No — smoking is not permitted inside the huts.
No. We do not accept dogs or other pets.
This is to protect horses, livestock and wildlife, and to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
Optional Experiences & Enhancements
Yes. Optional experiences and enhancements may be added to your booking, subject to availability.
All optional experiences and enhancements must be paid in full when added and are non-refundable, unless cancelled by us.
Yes (ages 12+), but children must be supervised at all times, particularly around horses, livestock and outdoor features.
Huts & Horses is located in open countryside. Guests should be aware of uneven ground, livestock and changing weather conditions. Guests stay at their own risk.
